Crnadak: Serbia is our primary partner and neighbor

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak met today in Belgrade with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić.

- The main reason for today's meeting is a concrete matter, the implementation of the agreement on mutual representation in providing consular and legal assistance. This specifically relates to the Olympic Games in Rio. This is important for us because such an activity shows that we are committed to working for the benefit of our citizens - said Igor Crnadak at the beginning of his address to the media.

Crnadak added that it is important to send a message about the joint commitment to work.

- It is important for us to send a message that we are working together and that we are indeed partners and good neighbors who work together. On the other hand, it is important for us for practical reasons. We have a delegation of people who will travel there, a number of our diaspora citizens will travel to the Olympic Games, and it is important for us to provide them with consular protection and assistance in this way - emphasized Crnadak, writes N1.

Also, all details of this agreement will be defined in the next day or two.

- I think we have done a good thing, it has been agreed that we will define all the details in the next day or two, and citizens will be directed to the right addresses if they have any problems. I hope there will be no need for any interventions, i.e., that citizens will not have problems - added the minister.

Crnadak emphasized at the end of his address that BiH and Serbia are primary partners and neighbors.

- I would add that Serbia and BiH are primary partners. Serbia is both our neighbor and our partner. It is true that many want to gain political votes by focusing on the past, victims, and conflicts. We want compromise and dialogue to be our way of resolving conflicts and our path - underlined Crnadak.
