(Patria) - According to data from the Center for Monitoring and Research, 42.2 percent of registered voters have exercised their right to vote in the parliamentary elections in Montenegro.
In the northern region, 44.5 percent voted, 44 percent in the central region, and 36.1 percent in the south. If the mentioned data is compared to previous election cycles, a very low turnout is observed.
In the 2020 parliamentary elections, the turnout by 5 PM was 68.4 percent, and in the 2016 parliamentary elections, it was 61.2 percent. According to data from the Center for Monitoring and Research, voting was interrupted at five polling stations in Rožaje due to a power outage.
They also state that a significantly lower number of irregularities have been reported compared to election cycles during, and even before, the previous three years. There are just over two hours left until the polling stations close.
