
A citizen of BiH, initials D.P. (27), died overnight at the Clinical Center of Montenegro in Podgorica, after falling from scaffolding at a construction site in Kamenovo, Budva two days ago.
The young man was employed as a worker for a construction company carrying out works on the Montenegrin coast.
On April 21, in the morning hours, for reasons unknown at this time, he lost his balance and fell from the 13-meter-high scaffolding onto a concrete garage.
Due to the force of the fall, he sustained severe, life-threatening head and body injuries.
He was immediately transported by ambulance to the General Hospital in Kotor, from where he was transferred to the hospital in Risan, and then urgently to the Clinical Center of Montenegro in Podgorica.
Budva police arrested G.M. (31) yesterday, the construction site manager in Kamenovo where P.D. fell.
The deputy basic state prosecutor in Kotor classified this act as a criminal offense against general safety and improper and incorrect execution of construction works, writes Vijesti.me.
