
(Patria) - Dragan Čović, Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met yesterday, March 23, 2020, with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, and the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković.
"At the beginning of the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PA BiH expressed his condolences to the Croatian people and all citizens of the City of Zagreb affected by the devastating earthquakes and subsequent tremors on March 22 and 23, 2020. During the meeting, officials discussed joint efforts and mutual support in combating the coronavirus pandemic, cross-border cooperation, assistance from the European Union, as well as additional measures in the area of health priorities and preserving economic security.
The Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament emphasized positive cooperation and expressed solidarity and readiness to find the necessary assistance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, like countries around the world, is facing the development of the coronavirus pandemic," it was announced.
