(Patria) - First Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović spoke in Zagreb with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković.
They discussed relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, as well as the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They deemed open communication and the resolution of all outstanding issues in the spirit of good neighborly relations as important.
Čović informed Prime Minister Plenković about the obstacles, but also the necessity of urgently forming authorities at all levels, especially the Council of Ministers of BiH. He stated that the legitimate representatives of Croats in BiH are ready for cooperation, with amendments to the Election Law as the only possible way to ensure and protect the constitutionality and democratic nature of the electoral process, while respecting the principles of constituent peoples and legitimate representation at all administrative-political levels.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, once again expressed full support for Bosnia and Herzegovina in implementing reforms aimed at approaching membership in the European Union. He particularly emphasized the importance of respecting the equality of all three constituent peoples in BiH, especially Croats as the smallest constituent people.
