Cormack visits Ilidža Municipality: Demining projects to be presented

The Municipality of Ilidža and the US Government jointly financed the Mitrića demining project near the Blažuj industrial zone. With joint funds, a total of 2,039,000 square meters of area in the Ilidža municipality were cleared.

The project implementer was the Training Centre for Mine Detection Dogs in Bosnia and Herzegovina – MDDC. The project was created by the Mine Action Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which continuously supervised and controlled the demining teams of MDDC during its implementation.

On Friday, November 4, at 10 AM, the US Ambassador to BiH, Maureen Cormack, will visit the Municipality of Ilidža, where demining projects in the territory of the Ilidža municipality will be presented.
