Čolpa: Today in Srebrenica, like once in Vijećnica: Amnestying inaction!

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Today's meeting in Srebrenica is reminiscent of the gathering in Vijećnica regarding the revision of the verdict against Serbia, when all participants fell for a lie, Nihad Čolpa, a representative in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, stated this evening.

"They knew it was a deception, but they came just in case a miracle happened. The miracle did not happen, but they became accomplices. I fear that, just as similar participants amnestied inaction in the preparation of the revision back then, by agreeing to a boycott now, they are forgiving everything that was not done to give Srebrenica a special status or to implement the return to an extent that would ensure that the place where genocide was committed is not led by genocide deniers, and today they decided that in addition to pre-emptively surrendering the mayoral positions, there will be no councilors either, who would represent the interests of the victims, their families, and descendants," Čolpa stated.

He added that with this act, returnees are left to themselves, as they will have no one to turn to for anything related to decision-making in Srebrenica.

"Unfortunately, anemic politics without a clear strategy, known in the public as pro-Bosnian, always ends in improvisation and catastrophic results," Čolpa concluded.
