(Patria) - The Republic of Croatia was among the 14 countries that voted against the United Nations Resolution calling for an immediate, permanent, and sustainable humanitarian ceasefire between Israeli forces and Hamas militants in Gaza.

However, such a decision did not meet with full approval in Croatia.

The leader of the largest opposition party - SDP, Peđa Grbin, reacted sharply.

"Croatia yesterday voted against a Resolution at the UN that called for an end to killings, delivery of humanitarian aid, and the release of hostages.

Plenković and Grlić Radman owe us an explanation for this shame," Grbin stated in a social media post.
