The Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday sent a request for the extradition of Sanjin Sefić, who killed two girls with his vehicle and then fled to Serbia via the Uvac border crossing, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
The Ministry of Justice of Serbia has received the request, and a decision on the extradition is now expected from the Minister of Justice, Nela Kuburović.
The deadline for extradition is determined by the country extraditing the requested person. The usual extradition detention lasts a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 40 days.
The date and place of extradition are agreed upon by the Interpol offices of the two countries.
We remind you that Sefić surrendered to the police in Novi Sad on Wednesday evening and was ordered into extradition detention.
