(Patria) - Members of the Montenegrin parliament adopted the Census Law tonight.
64 MPs voted for the Law, which is the number present in the hall. The Law will enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
The debate was turbulent and at one point a physical altercation almost broke out between SD MP Nikola Zirojević and GP URA's Dritan Abazović. During the debate, the topic was also strayed from, and MP of ZBCG Milan Knežević stated that he would never recognize Kosovo. The MPs agreed that the census should be held, but the opposition stated that not all conditions from the Census Agreement were met. The census is planned to start on November 30.
