Konjic veterans on their feet: No test for the deceased, publish the list of everyone tested!

KONJIC, (Patria) - The family of the first person who died from coronavirus in Konjic, H.M., has not yet been tested, as evidenced by a letter sent by the Veterans Association Klis-Buk.

This letter to the authorities reveals shortcomings and deficiencies that are occurring in the fight and the system being established to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

"The infected person was not tested even though they had clear symptoms as early as March 17th, indicating they were already infected. They contacted the emergency service, the chief epidemiologist, and received the answer that there were only three tests and they were used according to priorities. We have information that there were 50 tests and that some were tested multiple times. We note that this infected person was only tested in Mostar at the infectious diseases department on March 22nd, but by then it was too late," say this Veterans Association, whose letter we have seen.

They further demand to know who the priorities are: the infected or members of the crisis staff and their families?

"What is happening with the medical staff, why are so many of them suddenly on sick leave?" the Association asks.

They demand that the family of the deceased (wife, daughters, mother, brother) with whom he was in direct contact for several days be tested urgently.

"We demand that the entire house of the deceased be disinfected and that accurate data on the lists of tested individuals (number of tests and number of tested people) be determined and published."

Finally, they emphasize that "ordinary people who have always been ready to defend this country are again dying, and no one is taking care of them, because the priority for testing is someone else, for whom there is only suspicion of infection, even though they have not shown symptoms of the virus to this day."
