(Patria) - Former Serbian Ambassador to Montenegro Vladimir Božović was turned back today at the Ranče border crossing and was not allowed to enter Montenegro.
This was done despite the decision of the Administrative Court and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to allow him entry into Montenegro.
In a phone statement to the portal RTCG, after being denied entry, Božović said he was shocked by the decision of the Montenegrin state authorities.
- This is a first-class scandal. You saw the verdict of the Administrative Court and the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, which allow me entry into Montenegro.
Because of this, I decided to come again today, but at the Ranče border crossing, I was again served with a decision banning entry.
It is particularly unbelievable that this is happening despite the assurances of the Prime Minister and ministers in Montenegro that I will be allowed freedom of movement.
I am truly speechless and do not know what else to say - Božović stated.
