The BiH U18 women's football team defeated the Croatian team 3-0 today, while Greece celebrated a 3-1 victory over Montenegro, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
The matches of the U18 women's football teams, as part of UEFA's development tournament being held in BiH this year, will continue tomorrow at 3 PM.
Tomorrow, BiH and Greece will face each other at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium, while Montenegro and Croatia will play at the Slavija stadium in Lukavica.
- Our victory today is the result of long and hard work, which has now been rewarded with a good result - said the BiH coach Momčilo Stanić for NAP.
The UEFA tournament will last until Friday, and it will be played in a round-robin system, after which the winner will receive a valuable trophy. The teams participating are BiH, Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has had a Premier League for women's football since last season, which currently includes eight clubs from all over BiH.
