Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro agree on rationalizing costs of diplomatic-consular representations

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has established the Draft Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Montenegro on the collocation of diplomatic-consular representations (DCR), i.e. on their joint use, reports the Patria News Agency.

This will significantly rationalize the costs of DCR of the two countries, improve assistance to citizens, and intensify bilateral cooperation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations of Montenegro will, through a special implementation protocol, reach an agreement on the diplomatic-consular representations that will be jointly used, as well as on all financial and administrative-technical conditions for the functioning of each individual representation.

- The Draft Agreement will be submitted to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further procedure, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs has been proposed as the signatory for Bosnia and Herzegovina – it was announced from the Council of Ministers.
