Bešlagić: God willing, they make Sarajevo what Bandić made of Zagreb!

One of the most popular BiH actors Enis Bešlagić, commenting on the decision of the Sarajevo City Council today to revoke the title of honorary citizen from the mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, told the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) that he does not want to delve into the political reasons for such a decision.

He did not want to comment on the support Bandić gave to the establishment of a third - Croatian entity in BiH. But he did not remain silent about the whole story. Bešlagić told us that he can only say that Sarajevo politicians should really look up to Bandić's diligence and capability.

- God willing, Sarajevo politicians would have done for Sarajevo what Bandić did for Zagreb, it would be better for all of us - Bešlagić told NAP.

He did not want to comment on the bickering and politics between Sarajevo and Zagreb, but in his own way, he said that he is not satisfied with what Sarajevo, and even BiH politicians, have done for Sarajevo and BiH.

- If we are to look at merits, then a large number of politicians in BiH should have their citizenship of our country revoked, not just their titles - says Bešlagić.

The Sarajevo City Council today revoked Milan Bandić's title of honorary citizen of Sarajevo, which was awarded to him only a few weeks ago, due to his support for the third entity. However, the mayor of Zagreb has held the same stance on this issue for years, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
