(Patria) - Threats to Podgorica and Tivat airports, as well as a hotel in Sutomore, were made by P.M. (45) from Belgrade, the Police Administration announced.
"Officers of the Regional Security Centre South, Bar Security Department were informed this morning by employees of a hotel in Sutomore that they received a phone call from an unknown person who stated they would 'blow up' hotels and railway stations, without specifying which ones," the Police Administration stated.
The competent prosecutor, as they said, qualified this as the criminal offense of causing panic and disorder.
"Measures and actions were taken by police officers of the Bar police, who, in cooperation with officers of the NCB Interpol Podgorica, learned that the user of the phone number from which the threatening call was made is P.M. (45) from Belgrade," the police said.
They emphasize that they determined that the calls made this morning to the phone numbers of Podgorica Airport and Tivat Airport came from the same address, i.e., from the same phone number.
With this information, as the police add, the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed, who will comment on the qualification of the criminal offense.
"Activities to clarify all circumstances and facts regarding the mentioned incident will continue through international police cooperation, and in that context, appropriate measures and actions will be taken regarding P.M.," the Police Administration concludes.
