Belgrade: New protest "One in Five Million"

BELGRADE, (Patria) - The "One in Five Million" protest will be held again today in Belgrade, on the plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy.

This will be the 17th protest, and before the end of the protest march, a performance titled "Diary of Free Serbia" is planned in front of the RTS building.

According to announcements, historian Čedomir Antić, actor and member of the Democratic Party Branislav Lečić, and one of the organizers Miodrag Simović are expected to address the rally. Savo Manojlović, president of the Association for the Protection of Constitutionality and Legality, and Jovan Tamburić, president of the Association of Unions of Retired Military Personnel of Serbia, will speak at the "Diary of Free Serbia" performance.

This Saturday's protest march is planned through Makedonska, Svetogorska, and Takovska streets to the Government building. At the protest on March 16, demonstrators, led by opposition leader Boško Obradović, entered the RTS building and demanded an appearance on the news program to present the demands of those protesting since December last year.

On Sunday, March 17, the Alliance for Serbia organized a protest in front of the Presidency of Serbia during a press conference by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, after which the gathered crowd headed to the "29. novembar" police station to demand the release of students arrested by the police the previous day for entering the RTS building.

Participants of the "One in Five Million" protest are demanding fair and free elections, free media six to nine months before the elections, the dismissal of the state leadership, as well as the uncovering of the murder of the leader of the Civic Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanović.
