
An unknown man died today at 12:38 PM in Ilije Garašanina street in the center of Belgrade, after activating an explosive device in a pastry shop, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
Namely, the man entered the pastry shop, told the employees to leave, and then activated the bomb.
The street has been closed to traffic, and a large number of Ministry of Internal Affairs officers are at the scene conducting an investigation. The head of the Belgrade police, as well as forensic teams, are also present.
This is a well-known Belgrade pastry shop owned by former Minister of Culture and advisor to the Prime Minister for Culture and President of the Community of Museums of Science and Technology, Bratislav Petković.
