Bećirović: Vučić, solve Serbia's problems

(Patria) - "The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has repeatedly stated that he respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but he does not confirm this with actions. He is once again interfering in the internal affairs of our country, this time announcing that he has information that Western powers are interfering in the election process in Bosnia and Herzegovina. What and whom did Vučić follow to get this information? What right does he have to investigate and collect data on anything happening in Bosnia and Herzegovina? He especially has no right to interfere in the election process in Bosnia and Herzegovina himself by covertly trying to lead voters to vote for a political option close to him. Through this, I am telling Vučić to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina alone, and let him and his secret services collect data on what is happening in Serbia. There are people who can take care of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Denis Bećirović, SDP's candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the upcoming elections in BiH.

"According to Vučić's statement, 'ambassadors of certain Western countries are calling people on the lists of certain parties and forbidding them to change sides, otherwise they will be held responsible for crimes they have committed and for those they have not committed.' As for Vučić's services and information about alleged accusations of crimes against individuals, we have all witnessed how these services have carefully protected Karadžić and Mladić from justice for decades. The last thing Vučić should be lecturing about is the relationship between secret services and foreign agencies regarding individuals suspected of war crimes, when his country and secret service protected the greatest butchers and war criminals after World War II. He would be wiser to focus on solving problems within Serbia. If he wants to be a factor of stability in the region, he should focus on normalizing relations with Kosovo, as that is currently the biggest threat to the region's stability. Vučić must inform the citizens of Serbia that Kosovo is no longer Serbia. His policy with Kosovo has failed, as he himself admitted, but that gives him no right to compensate for that failure in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not want what belongs to others, and we will not give our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to anyone," concluded Bećirović.
