Bećirović to Vučić: Don't hide behind your tragicomic political puppets!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Regarding the latest attacks by Serbian ministers on Denis Bećirović, candidate for the BiH Presidency, due to his criticism of Aleksandar Vučić, Bećirović also commented:

“I call on Aleksandar Vučić to personally respond to the arguments I presented and to face the facts. I consider the unworthy attempt to respond through one of his 'megaphones,' the Serbian Minister of Defense, to be irrelevant. Vulin, who is clearly Aleksandar Vučić's Minister of Defense, is not at all worthy of a response to the nonsense and disconnected theses he presented,” said Bećirović, adding:

“Apart from a pathetic attempt to further curry favor with his mentor, the statement by Vučić's political puppet had no characteristics of a response to the arguments and criticisms I directed at Aleksandar Vučić. Instead of hiding behind his, admittedly devoted, or rather sacrificial followers, I once again invite Vučić to openly confront the criticism and arguments I have publicly presented. I still maintain that Vučić and Serbia are interfering in the internal affairs of the sovereign, independent state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, until they convince us otherwise with their actions. If he himself does not dare to face that truth, it is better for him to remain silent than to be defended in nonsensical public performances by cadres like Vulin,” emphasized Bećirović.

He further states that “regarding the question of who tried to 'kill' Aleksandar Vučić in Srebrenica, as spokesperson Vulin claims, it is clear that such questions are addressed to the competent police and judicial authorities, not to political opponents.”

“As far as I am concerned, I stated a month before Vučić's visit to Srebrenica that I was against his visit, because I believe that those who deny the genocide in Srebrenica should be permanently banned from visiting this holy place. If I had been listened to, this incident would not have happened,” said Bećirović and concluded:

“Finally, since we are exchanging inquiries, I also want to ask Vučić an important question: What was he doing at the Jewish cemetery above the capital of our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the brutal aggression in the nineties?”
