Biden arrived in Belgrade, strong security measures

US Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Belgrade today around 2 PM. He was welcomed at the "Nikola Tesla" airport by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, reports the BH news agency Patria.

Biden came with his wife and a large delegation. The US Ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, also attended the official welcome at the airport.

After the welcome at the "Nikola Tesla" airport, the official meeting will take place at the Palace of Serbia, which is being flown over by helicopters, and there are strong security measures on the streets. Snipers are deployed on surrounding buildings.

Analysts assess that this is a very important visit, and a manifestation of support for Serbia's European path and the reform course of Aleksandar Vučić's government.
