Turkish Airlines plane diverted to Belgrade due to fog instead of Sarajevo

A Turkish Airlines plane could not land at Sarajevo airport on Saturday morning due to dense fog, so it landed at Belgrade airport, and planes of two European companies are still circling above Sarajevo waiting for a favorable moment to land, confirmed from Sarajevo airport for the BH News Agency Patria.

- A BH Airlines plane managed to land early this morning, but the weather worsened afterwards, so we sent one plane to Belgrade airport, while the other two planes are still in so-called "holding", meaning they are waiting for a favorable moment to land – confirmed from the Operations Center of Sarajevo International Airport.

Dense fog often prevents planes from landing at Sarajevo airport, reports NAP.
