Car drove into people at a protest in Milanovac, hitting a child and throwing them several meters

(Patria) - Incident in Gornji Milanovac. After the protest began, a car driver sped into the crowd and injured a child, throwing them several meters with the impact.

The child was transferred to the emergency department of the Milanovac hospital with injuries.

According to one of the protest organizers, Nebojša Jovanović, speaking to N1 Serbia, angry citizens gathered in front of the hospital.

According to him, the driver fled the scene after the incident.

“Traffic has been closed since 6 PM, and cars are arranged there, and children are driving them, the center is full of children. An arrogant driver sped through, slalom, among them. Hit a child, threw them over the car, and left. What is terrible is the arrogance with which he drove away without looking at what happened. They said from the Milanovac hospital that the child is now well, but is under observation. This is the peak of arrogance, an attempted murder and murder of children that Serbia can no longer tolerate,” Kristina Milošević, a protest organizer, told N1 Serbia.

She stated that the protests were not held, but rather citizens came in front of the SUP (Public Security Service) to get information about who the culprit was.
