Arnaut: It seems only Dodik disagrees with the fact that in Croatia they deny the genocide against Serbs

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Let us assume that Šefik shares Komšić's position, based on this it appears that only Dodik disagrees “that today in Croatia the fact is denied that during the period of the quisling NDH genocide was committed against Serbs, Roma and Jews...”

Wrote on Sunday on Twitter the representative in the State Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina Damir Arnaut.

On Saturday, the office of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić announced that Komšić in New York, where he is on an official visit, met with the Special Adviser of the United Nations Secretary-General on the Prevention of Genocide, Adama Dieng.  

In the conversation, both stated that the denial of crimes and genocide committed during the last war in BiH is unacceptable.

"Komšić highlighted the absurd fact that with astonishing persistence, even today in the entity of Republika Srpska, the genocide committed against Bosniaks in Srebrenica and Podrinje is institutionally denied, but also that, primarily in neighboring Croatia, through public and political activities of individuals, the crime of genocide against Serbs, Roma and Jews in World War II within the quisling entity NDH is denied," was announced from Komšić's cabinet.

Komšić conveyed to the UN Secretary-General's envoy the assessment that after the committed genocide, denial and non-acceptance begin, ultimately leading to the glorification of the genocide and its perpetrators. 

"One genocide does not diminish nor relativize another," said Komšić.

He suggested that a specific approach is needed for each region when it comes to such crimes and that one must not fall into the trap of a superficial and template-based approach. 
On that occasion, Komšić invited UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Adama Dieng to participate in the commemoration and marking of the 25th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica next year.

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović as well as the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of that country, Gordan Grlić-Radman, condemned Komšić's speech, rejecting the claims of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH.
