(Patria) - US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill believes that the situation in the Balkans is not so bad, and that people, if they are disappointed, should look at North Korea.
Appearing on K1 television, Hill said it is important for things to calm down, for tensions not to be created, and for those who want to create them to not be given an excuse.
- I haven't been here for 20 years, but I have been in other places, including North Korea. So, if you are disappointed with the situation in Serbia, look at North Korea, and you will see that the situation in the Balkans is not so bad - Hill conveyed.
He adds that he understands that what worries people in Serbia is who will guarantee the signed agreements, because the Brussels Agreement was signed in 2013, and it has not been implemented, and so much time has passed.
- We want to be part of the process and a guarantor for the implementation of the outcome of its agreement. If you want to invest in any country, you want it to be a safe place and to not have political problems. So, all of that is part of a big problem - concluded the US Ambassador to Serbia.
