
Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Slovenia Željko Jerkić discussed preparations for the upcoming Brdo – Brijuni Process summit, which will be held on May 28 and 29 in Sarajevo, with the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
It was jointly stated that the Summit is of great importance for the further development of regional cooperation, as well as for Bosnia and Herzegovina as the host country.
It is expected that in addition to the participating countries, the President of the Republic of Italy Sergio Mattarella will attend this year's summit, and on behalf of the European Union, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
Ambassador Jerkić thanked President Pahor for his personal interest and continuous support for the implementation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Euro-Atlantic strategy.
President Pahor expressed his expectation that the established dynamics of reform processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue and emphasized that BiH can count on Slovenia's support.
