Aleksandar Vučić arrives on official visit to BiH today

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrives today for a two-day visit to BiH, writes Patria agency.

This is also Vučić's first visit to our country since he became President of Serbia. He previously visited as Prime Minister.

The visit of Serbian President Vučić carries particular weight given that his predecessor, Tomislav Nikolić, never paid an official visit to Sarajevo, although his visit was long announced, it never happened.

Vučić told Serbian media that he is always available for talks in Sarajevo, as it is an opportunity to reaffirm the policy of peace and stability and good relations.

- For me, this is an opportunity to reaffirm the policy of peace and stability, good relations, because it seems to me that this is one of the things we must do in the best possible way to preserve stability and peace - said Vučić.

The official welcoming ceremony for Vučić will be held at 2 PM in front of the Presidency building, and after the meeting at the Presidency, Vučić will meet with members of the Assembly of East Sarajevo.

Tomorrow, Vučić will meet with members of both collegiums of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and then with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić.
