AGRANA-STUDEN takes over Ormož: STUDEN Group expands its business in Slovenia

With strategic positioning within the European Union, AGRANA-STUDEN Group has owned the Ormož packaging and logistics center in Slovenia since this year. By purchasing the packaging center, silos and storage space, the AGRANA-STUDEN Group's position has been strengthened for the smooth and timely supply of sugar to the markets of the European Union, the Western Balkans, as well as the world market.

- AGRANA-STUDEN Group continues the expansion of its business, and with the purchase of Ormož, our distribution company AGRAGOLD Ljubljana has received support in the form of a packaging center, as well as excellent silo and storage capacities, and the business Group has strengthened its position as a regional market leader, which the new acquisition of the Ormož location rounds off in a geographical and market sense - said the President of the Management Board of STUDEN Holding, Ilija Studen.

STUDEN Holding has an international agribusiness portfolio that covers the processing, trading, and distribution of agricultural products, such as sugar, edible oils, oilseeds, and grains, and as part of the Holding engaged in the trading, processing, and distribution of sugar and sweeteners, AGRANA-STUDEN Group consists of operational joint venture companies established by AGRANA Group and STUDEN Holding. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, within STUDEN Holding, the edible oil factory BIMAL and the STUDEN-AGRANA Sugar Refinery in Brčko operate.
