FBiH in RS 6-2: Who are the delegates who voted for the Chetnik duke Poplašen

Six delegates from the Federation of BiH and two from the Republika Srpska in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH voted for the appointment of the Chetnik duke Nikola Poplašen as a member of the Steering Committee of the Agency for Higher Education of BiH, writes the Patria news agency.

These are Sead Kadić (SDA), Sifet Podžić (DF), Bariša Čolak (HDZ BiH), Mario Karamatić (HSS), Zdenka Džambas (HDZ BiH), Ljilja Zovko (HDZ BiH), Ognjen Tadić (SDS) and Darko Babalj (SDS).

We present their short biographies.

Sead Kadić was born on November 2, 1957, in Bihać. He holds a Master's degree in technical sciences. He was the technical director-plant manager at Kombiteks Bihać. From 1992 to 1995, he was a member of the Fifth Corps of the Army of RBiH, an officer of the Army of FBiH, and then of the BiH Armed Forces.

Sifet Podžić was born on May 1, 1959, in Žepa. He is a pensioner by profession. He holds a doctorate in political sciences. He was the Ambassador of BiH to Bulgaria from 2009 to 2012. He was a general in the BiH Armed Forces from 2004 to 2009, an officer in the ARBiH and the Army of the Federation of BiH from 1992 to 2004. He was an officer in the former JNA from 1980 to 1992, a junior officer in the former JNA from 1978 to 1980.

Bariša Čolak was born on January 1, 1956, in Široki Brijeg. He is a law graduate by profession. From 2010 to 2014, he was the state Minister of Justice, before that a state representative, and until 2002, he held the position of federal Minister of Justice. He also served as the Prime Minister of the West Herzegovina Canton, and as an assistant, deputy, and minister of justice in the Government of the so-called HZHB, and a judge of the Municipal Court in Široki Brijeg.

Mario Karamatić, born on August 30, 1971, in Mostar. He is a mining technician by profession.

Zdenka Džambas was born on January 18, 1955, in Travnik. She was a professor at the Secondary School Center Novi Travnik, and later the director of this school.

Ljilja Zovko was born on December 3, 1958. From 2010 to 2014, she was a representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH. She also managed branches of FIMA Bank, Hercegovačka Bank, managed operations at Hrvatska Bank, and was a credit controller at Jugobanka.

Ognjen Tadić was born on April 20, 1974. He is a lawyer by profession. He holds a Master's degree in political sciences. He is serving his second term as a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. He was the Speaker of the House of Peoples of BiH, and a member of the National Assembly of RS. He also served as an advisor and head of cabinet to the President of RS.

Darko Babalj was born on December 25, 1974. He is an economics graduate by profession. He served as the President of the Assembly of the City of East Sarajevo until 2010. He was the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Istočna Ilidža until 2008. He was the director of the "Vizantija" gallery until 2004.
