(Patria) - In the Memorial Complex and Martyr's Cemetery "Veljaci" in Bratunac, the funeral prayer and burial of the remains of several victims of Bosniak nationality killed in 1992 will take place today.
The remains of Kajtaz Salkić, who disappeared in December 1992 in the Bratunac area and whose remains were found last year at the Glogova site, will be buried.
Also, the remains of victims found in burned houses in Voljavica and Suha, which could not be identified by DNA analysis due to damage, will be buried.
The president of the Association "Women of Podrinje – Bratunac", Šuhra Sinanović, stated that even after more than 30 years, not all victims have been found, nor have all those responsible been brought to justice.
According to data from the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 449 victims from the Bratunac area are still being searched for, while 1,767 murdered individuals have been identified so far.
