Chinese from Sarajevo smuggled cigarettes to Dubai

On February 6, members of the Border Police Unit Sarajevo Airport discovered 213 boxes of cigarettes during baggage control for a flight to Dubai, including 100 boxes of Marlboro with excise stamps from the Republic of Serbia, 60 boxes with excise stamps from the Republic of Croatia, 20 boxes with excise stamps from Italy, and 33 boxes of Sobranie cigarettes with excise stamps from the Republic of Serbia, reports the Patria News Agency.

The discovered goods belonged to C. C. (born 1985), a citizen of the People's Republic of China. The individual, along with the goods, was handed over to officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH for further proceedings, it was announced from the BiH Border Police.
