Crnadak in Brussels: Numerous meetings with high-ranking officials

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak, will be in Brussels from February 15 to 17, 2016, it was announced by the MFA BiH, reports the Patria news agency.

Minister Crnadak will be a member of the BiH delegation, led by the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Čović, which will submit the application for BiH's membership in the EU on Monday, February 15.

In the evening, Minister Crnadak will attend a reception on the occasion of the submission of the membership application, which will be held in the ceremonial Presidential Lounge of the European Parliament. The hosts of the reception will be the permanent rapporteur of the European Parliament for BiH, Cristian Dan Preda, the President of the Delegation for relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina of the EP, Tonino Picula, and MEPs Plenković, Radoš, Šuica, and Stier.

On Tuesday, February 16, in the morning, Minister Crnadak will participate in the annual summit of "Friends of Europe", within the second session dedicated to regional cooperation.

In the afternoon, Minister Crnadak will meet with members of the Working Group for the Western Balkans of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and then with the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.

On the third day of his working visit to Brussels, February 17, Minister Crnadak will hold a briefing for the ambassadors of the Political and Security Committee of the European Union (PSC), where the participation of representatives of the EU External Action Service (EEAS), the EU Military Committee (EUMC), COWEB, etc. is also expected.

After the briefing, Minister Crnadak will meet with the acting Secretary General of the European Union External Action Service, Helga Schmid, and then with the European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc, according to the statement.
