Content of the recording, its authenticity, the method of and motive behind its making, public distribution and any possible responsibility of the actors involved should be dealt with by the state institutions, said the SDA about the widely shared audio recording of conversation between Asim Sarajlic and others regarding 'fixing' delegate votes for future leader of Sarajevo SDA. But, instead of hearing about dismissals and resignations, we are being lectured by SDA?!
Which exactly state institutions when they are also involved? Who will check them? The SDA is dangerous for the political system in BiH which is reflected in the fact that the Intelligence agency (OSA) is also actively involved in their deeds. The first person of OSA Osman Mehmedagic is a part of that political project which is fatal for BH society!
The mayor of Sarajevo municipality Novi Grad, Semir Efendic (SDA) shared the recording revealing details of secret deals relating to the party elections for president of the SDA cantonal board held on Wednesday.
The key voice on the recording belongs to SDA's Asim Sarajlic, one of the closest aids of Bakir Izetbegovic. Among other things, the recording reveals involvement of the OSA director in 'fixing' people to vote for mayor of Sarajevo, SDA personnel, as well as future roles of ministries in the new cantonal ministries. The citizens of this country would know that even without the taped conversation, but the recording just as well confirmed their suspicions. If you are unemployed, all you need is money and to know Asim Sarajlic!
Therefore, it is easy to conclude how Izetbegovic came to be the SDA leader. He removed the aides of late Sulejman Tihic; some joined him and became sycophants, and they even boast about it, while others who were forced to leave – the 'rebels' are treated as the biggest enemies of the party and the state.
In most of the cases, they were everything opposite to what Izetbegovic, his wife Sebija and their aids stand for, and as such - they were removed. Izetbegovic's surgically precise analysis revealed who could ask for more than is allowed, and who could say that the state comes first and not personal party interests. And those persons soon became personae non gratae for SDA.
From the moment when Bakir Izetbegovic was first elected the president of SDA at the congress by most obvious vote stealing and interference, every further step they took was about taking over levers of power for sake of their interests and family ties, which can be felt in all spheres of the society.
They stand behind a class stratification, living in their own worlds far from reality, while our educated youth have no choice but to leave the country. And while the 'delegate' will end up before the court for unauthorized recording, Sarajlic will remain where he is, deciding on destinies of our children!
The public kept silent when Sarajlic was appointed to lead the SDA personnel office in spite of corruption charges. Now the recording featuring Sarajlic shook the public to the core. I'm afraid that lethargy of BH society will soon replace the initial shock, the memories will fade away until some new recording. And there will more of those as local elections approach.
There's less and less of the state and more of SDA and its ally parties. Why do we need Milorad Dodik and Dragan Covic when we have Izetbegovic? The Bosniaks are most responsible for the situation in BiH, merely by being the majority, and we are falling down into a bottomless pit led by proven thieves. Because the recording is the proof, regardless of the way it was obtained... we heard it and saw it at the SDA congress how to take something that you cannot win by majority. Something that can be seen on both the local and general elections.
Therefore, it is impossible for me not to mention judiciary. Unfortunately, it is custom-made for them. They are not afraid of it, that's why they are calling for it.
Is there anything we can do? I have to quote Bogic Bogicevic – 'even coup d’état is impossible here because we are so divided that one side would always blame the other for it. No wonder there are no protests at the state level, no strikes, except in some parts...'
And while they continue to divide us, we should become more aware that the strength is in unity (SDA election slogan), as SDA most recently showed it to us in practice, and when will we show it to them?!
