Interviews with candidates completed: Perica Stanić the new director of SIPA?

Interviews with candidates for the director of SIPA have been completed, and the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament will soon prepare a list of up to five most successful candidates which will be forwarded to the BiH Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić.

Perica Stanić, one of the seven candidates for the position of SIPA director, did not wish to comment on the stories that he is the first choice for SIPA director, stating that it would be unserious to address the public even before the interview, reports the reporter of the BiH news agency Patria.

After completing his interview, Stanić said that if he is chosen as the director of SIPA, he will work in accordance with the law, which includes the fight against organized crime.

Otherwise, Stanić was very cheerful while waiting for his turn for the interview, and he currently holds the position of advisor in the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs. He comes from Prnjavor, the same hometown as the BiH Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić.

As confirmed by multiple sources, Stanić will be at the top of the list of up to five candidates that the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament will forward to the Council of Ministers, i.e., to Dragan Mektić, who will forward one candidate for confirmation to the BiH Parliament.
