Zahiragić: Konaković's departure is a vital national interest

By Haris Zahiragić, Vice President of SDA

Of course, Konaković should not be voted out, meaning he should not be voted out for the reasons stated by SNSD in their initiative. But...

Exactly one year ago, Konaković said that January 9th is a trivial matter, and equated that day with March 1st - Independence Day, perhaps for that reason alone, his dismissal should be supported.

He should also be dismissed for the abuse of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH to protect suspects for cooperation with drug cartels and for his connections with drug cartels, about which we have read in Sky correspondence, as well as in relevant domestic, regional, and European media.

Perhaps he should also be dismissed for the scandalous debacle with the (non)organization of the Summit of Western Balkan Leaders.

Why not also for not daring to utter the established fact that Croatia committed aggression against BiH when directly asked by a journalist on HRT?

Or because, due to that, but also due to general servility, he has become a "good European boy" - as radical Željana Zovko affectionately calls him.

So why not cite as a reason the fact that as MFA he voted to award 100 million KM to Dodik's godfather for the purchase of a building, thus setting a precedent that decisions in the Council of Ministers can be adopted without a vote from the deputy of Bosniak nationality?

Perhaps the best reason for his dismissal is that he has at least questionable education and is fundamentally incompetent to hold this important and responsible position.

And so on...

If, however, we were to look for reasons in his political actions as president of NIP, then we would find countless reasons for his dismissal.

So, if you ask me, given that it all started with the invented "fiknutim teletom" in ZOI, perhaps it is justice that everything should end with a "fiknutim" Konaković from the position of MFA.

Especially since he was ready to trample on everything in his path for that position, including first-class national interests.

So let him go to Laktaši to watch Igokea or to Dodik's private estate to arrange disastrous decisions, unburdened by the MFA position.

Some are asking if Konaković's position is some kind of national interest for Bosniaks? I've been asking myself for a few days. And I realized that it is.

Konaković's departure from this important position is precisely a vital national interest. Not only for Bosniaks, but for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
