Bald new pedestrian path and stairs in Asima Ferhatovića street

Renovation of pedestrian paths and stairs in Asima Ferhatovića street 5, for which the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo allocated 24,830 KM from its budget for 2015 as part of regular maintenance of stairs and railings, began a few days ago, reports the Patria News Agency.  

The framework agreement on investment and technical maintenance of stairs and railings was signed on behalf of the Municipality of Centar by Mayor Dževad Bećirević with the director of the company „Sela“ d.o.o. Sead Tutić.

According to Mesud Zimić, site manager of the company „Sela“, the work is proceeding according to plan, and the completion of the mentioned project is expected next week.

-So far, our workers have demolished the dilapidated concrete paths and stairs. Also, the base layer has been laid, after which the paths have been concreted. The installation of kulir tiles is underway, after which the pedestrian railing will also be installed, said Zimić.

Residents of this street praised the project of the Municipality of Centar and emphasized that its realization means a lot to them.

-We are very satisfied because we will now have a well-maintained and much easier access to the building, given that we live in an urban environment. People used to fall here, break their arms because there were no stairs or handrails, and of course, we are happy and grateful to Mayor Bećirević and the Municipality of Centar for realizing this project, said resident Sofija Sijerčić, it was announced from the Municipality of Centar.
