In Zaklopača, the 34th anniversary of the crime against Bosniaks was commemorated: VRS members killed 59 residents, including 15 children

(Patria) - In the village of Zaklopača, the 34th anniversary of the bloody crime was commemorated today, organized by the Majlis of Vlasenica. On May 16, 1992, members of the VRS from Milići killed 59 residents of Zaklopača in a bloody raid, including 15 minors, by reciting tevhids in the mosque.

The youngest victim was four-year-old Naida Hodžić, and the oldest was 62-year-old Fatima Berbić.

The largest number of remains were discovered in a mass grave in 2004, and to date, the remains of 54 people have been discovered and exhumed, while the other victims are still being searched for.

The Appellate Division of the State Court acquitted Radomir Pantić and four other defendants for the crimes in Zaklopača.
