In Vogošća, the regular spring cleaning campaign has begun

(Patria) - A large regular spring cleaning campaign began today in the municipality of Vogošća.

The campaign is organized and financed by the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of KS and is being carried out with the help of public enterprises founded by the Canton of Sarajevo.

Employees and machinery from KJKP Rad, KJKP Park, KJKP Pokop, KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija, the Civil Protection of the municipality, and members of the Vogošća Fire Department are participating in the spring cleaning campaign of the Canton of Sarajevo.

The campaign, which began this morning at 7 a.m., includes cleaning landfills, removing bulky waste, washing streets, cleaning and washing underpasses, mowing green areas, trimming branches and bushes, mowing and cleaning cemeteries, washing courtyards, cleaning drains, and replacing lighting.

More than 25 vehicles from utility companies and more than 100 workers are participating in the campaign, which covers the cleaning of locations not included in the regular maintenance program.

- Cleaning campaigns are not only about tidying up public spaces but also an indicator of our shared responsibility towards the local community and future generations.

The Municipality of Vogošća will continue to support all activities that contribute to environmental protection, raising environmental awareness, and creating a more beautiful and healthier living environment.

What particularly pleases me is that young people are participating in such campaigns, and I am glad to see a considerable number of young people and children among the members of the Vogošća Fire Department - said the Mayor of the Municipality of Vogošća, Migdad Hasanović.
