In Tuzla two victims killed in 1992 from Rogatica and Doboj identified

(Patria) - In the Memorial Center in Tuzla, two victims of the past war from the areas of Rogatica and Doboj have been identified.

These are victims who were killed during 1992, and their remains were exhumed at different locations in 2002 and 2010.

Teufik (Ismeta) Tanković, born in 1937 in Rakitnica, Rogatica, has been identified. He was killed in 1992 in the Srebrenica area, and his remains were exhumed at the Crni potok site in Srebrenica in 2010.

The family also confirmed the identity of Stipo (Vid) Zirdum, born in 1962 in Foča, Doboj municipality. He was killed in 1992 in the Derventa area, and his remains were exhumed in 2002 at a site within the city cemetery in Slavonski Brod.

The identity of the victims was first determined by DNA analysis, and then their identity was confirmed by their family members.
