(Patria) - A regular session of the BiH Council of Ministers (at 12:00) and an extraordinary session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (at 11:00) are scheduled for today in Sarajevo.
This will be the first session of the Council of Ministers after the split in the state coalition, i.e., the turbulence between the Trojka and SNSD and the dismissal of Nenad Nešić from the position of BiH Security Minister.
BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković announced that he would "sweep SNSD cadres away with bulldozers", but there is still no official proposal for the dismissal of ministers Staša Košarac and Srđan Amidžić.
However, a request for Konaković's dismissal has been submitted, sent by SDA and DF deputies. SNSD confirmed that they will support this dismissal, while the opposition from the RS has not yet taken a final stance.
On the agenda are several agreements, as well as the Proposal for a Decision on amending the Decision on establishing the Commission for Cooperation with NATO of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Regarding the extraordinary session of the BiH House of Peoples, the agenda includes two so-called European laws - the Border Control Law and the Personal Data Protection Law.
These two laws were adopted on Thursday, January 23, at a session of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH without SNSD votes, and were supported by the opposition from the RS.
The situation regarding who constitutes the majority and whether SNSD will support these laws, or whether they will attend the session of the House of Peoples at all and enable its work, is still unclear.
At the same session of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, at the proposal of the Trojka clubs (SDP, NIP, NS), Nebojša Radmanović was dismissed from the leadership of that house.
Given that this position is vacant, the SNSD Club has submitted a proposal to appoint Branislav Borenović as the second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the extraordinary session is scheduled for February 5.
SNSD emphasized that the work of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH without representatives of all three constituent peoples in the Collegium is unconstitutional.
Incidentally, on that day (February 5), the First Special Joint Session of both houses of the PSBiH will also be held on the topic: "Deputies/Delegates Ask - Council of Ministers of BiH Answers".
