(Patria) - An elderly woman died in a traffic accident that occurred this morning in the Mojmilo settlement, municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.
The emergency medical service team informed the Novi Grad Police Department at around 10:20 this morning about an intervention due to an injured pedestrian.
She was hit and knocked onto the roadway by a passenger motor vehicle on X transferzala street.
The doctor from the aforementioned service pronounced the pedestrian, born in 1951, dead at 10:47. The driver remained at the scene.
The duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was informed. Traffic on this section is suspended until the investigation is completed, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
