In Sarajevo numerous events for the 400th anniversary of Hasan Kafi Pruščak's work

The event for "400 years of the work of Hasan Kafi Pruščak 1615 - 2015" will be held under the high patronage of Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović on November 11, 2015, at the Gazi Husrev-beg Library starting at 11:30 AM, it was announced by the Institute for the Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks, reports the BH news agency Patria.

The event will be opened with the exhibition "Manuscripts and Works of Hasan Kafi Pruščak," by author M.Sc. Osman Lavić, in the hall of the Gazi Husrev-beg Library at 11:30 AM.

Students of Elči Ibrahim-paša Madrasa will recite a Khatma prayer for the soul of Hasan Kafi at the Begova Mosque at 11:45 AM.

The central part of the event is a scientific conference that brings together 17 presenters, eminent scholars who have dealt with Pruščak and his scientific opus during their academic careers. An integral part of the scientific conference will be the promotion of a book about Hasan Kafi, his life and work, with a special focus on his most famous work, Usulul-hikem fi nizamil-alem (The Foundations of Wisdom on the Order of the World). This commemorative edition, titled Hasan Kafi Pruščak, was published by the Institute for the Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks in cooperation with El-Kalem, the publishing center of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Finally, at the mentioned event, an interactive presentation about the life of Hasan Kafi Pruščak, intended for primary and secondary school students, will be presented.

The event is open to the public, and all interested parties are invited to attend the commemoration of this significant anniversary.

The organizers of the event are: The Directorate for Education and Science of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Institute for the Islamic Tradition of Bosniaks, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of the University of Sarajevo, and the Oriental Institute of the University of Sarajevo, writes NAP.
