In RS 40 new cases, 124 patients in hospitals

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 327 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, St. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina and the University Hospital in Foča, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 40 people in Republika Srpska.

These are 22 males and 13 females, of whom eight are younger, 29 middle-aged, and three elderly, according to the Institute of Public Health of Srpska.

By place of residence, eight people are from Rogatica, seven from Ljubinje, six from Banja Luka, three from Gradiška, two each from Bijeljina, Kotor Varoš, Teslić, Vlasenica and Prijedor, and one each from Derventa, Doboj, Foča, Gacko, Trebinje and Zvornik.

In the last 24 hours, one death was reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed. This is a middle-aged male from Vlasenica with comorbidities.

So far, 2,272 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 125 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 1,330 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far. A total of 36,888 people have been tested for SARS-CoV-2.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 124, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 36, and in general hospitals 88.

The total number of people who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 with mild clinical symptoms or without symptoms in isolation facilities is 153.

In Republika Srpska, 2,100 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 37,202 people.
