In RS 69 new coronavirus infections and six deaths in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the entity of Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health of RS, University Clinical Center of RS, University Hospital Foča, Hospital "Sv. Luka" in Doboj and Hospital Sv. Vračevi in Bijeljina, 572 laboratory samples were tested, and the new coronavirus was confirmed in 69 people.

These are 39 males and 30 females, of whom 16 are younger, 39 middle-aged, and 14 elderly.

According to place of residence, 15 people are from Banja Luka, nine from Doboj, six from Istočna Ilidža, five from Srbac, four from Foča, three each from Laktaši, Teslić, Čelinac and Šipovo, two each from Derventa, Novo Goražde, Petrovo, Prnjavor and Ribnik, and one each from Bijeljina, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Jezero, Kneževo, Kotor Varoš, Mrkonjić Grad, Stanari and Šamac.

In the last 24 hours, six deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of RS, in which the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed. These are elderly women from Banja Luka (two people), Kneževo, Šamac, Gradiška and Doboj.

So far, 7,726 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 261 people have died, in whom the test for the new coronavirus was confirmed.

In this entity, a total of 4,742 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 67,345 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 195, 55 at the University Clinical Center, and 140 in general hospitals.

Currently, 2,922 people are under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 53,321 people.
