Police officers of the Omarska Police Station on 08/24/2016, in the village of Marićka on abandoned private property, found 8 military crates containing 40 grenades of 82 mm caliber. The grenades were found in the attic of an auxiliary building, based on previously obtained operational information, and an on-site investigation determined that they had been there for a longer period, it was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, reports the BH news agency Patria.
No traces were found at the scene that would indicate a possible connection of criminal groups with the placement of the mentioned items.
The found grenades were removed from the scene by members of the Civil Protection Administration of Banja Luka.
