In Našice, three tons of drugs worth 60 million euros were burned

(Patria) - In Našice, narcotic drugs seized in criminal investigations were burned.

Almost three tons of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and hashish, with a street value of 60 million euros, were burned.

The police continue their work.

This year alone, 2,000 criminal charges related to drug abuse have been filed.

The drugs burned today were mainly seized in the area of the so-called Balkan route.

- This says a lot about our role at the EU level, with our partners, and about our role in the Southeast European region where the Croatian police are at the forefront of operational actions.

You have witnessed in recent years how many actions have been carried out, and the result of those actions is also these drugs that we will burn today - 244 kilograms of heroin according to the Australian methodology.

The point is that we have saved at least 100 lives, and that is what is most important - said Police Director General Nikola Milina.
