SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Mostar, two youths from Zemun were attacked, one of whom sustained serious bodily injuries and a broken jaw. Police are searching for the attackers.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (MUP HNK), Ljudevit Marić, confirmed that the attack occurred on Sunday around 5:30 PM in Kuluk Street in the Old Town.
- S.N. (33) from Zemun sustained serious bodily injuries and a broken jaw after he and his friend (31) were attacked by two unknown individuals in Mostar - Marić stated.
The young man who escaped without serious injuries told the police that they were attacked because of the inscription "Zemun" on their t-shirts. They were reportedly in Mostar as participants in a sports event.
Marić stated that the police are searching for the perpetrators and are taking all legally prescribed actions to shed light on the case, reports HMS.
