In Livno, Trebinje and Mostar, weather is life-threatening

Red alert has been issued for Livno, Mostar and Trebinje, which means that the weather conditions in these areas will be life-threatening for people, writes the Patria news agency.

For other areas of our country, an orange alert has been issued, implying that there will be unusual weather conditions. Damage and human casualties are possible. Be careful and regularly inform yourself about the expected meteorological conditions. Be aware of the inevitable risk. Follow the instructions given by your state authorities.

Expected rainfall in Herzegovina is 40 to 80 liters per square meter, locally up to 110 liters. In the western parts of Bosnia, the expected rainfall is 30 to 60 liters per square meter. Stormy wind gusts from 70 to 90 km/h.

Extremely dangerous weather will last until 8 p.m. tonight, according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.
