(Patria) - In Jelovče village near Gradačac, the funeral prayer for Osman-ef. Kavazović, who passed away yesterday at the age of 71, was held after the afternoon prayer.

The funeral prayer was led by the reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein-ef. Kavazović.

Before the funeral prayer, which was attended by a large number of relatives of the late Osman efendi, as well as numerous community members, colleagues, friends, and comrades, the mufti of Tuzla, Vahid-ef. Fazlović, addressed the attendees.

- Osman efendi carried a heavy burden on his shoulders, but his shoulders were reliable throughout his life. We bear witness to this. He remained upright until his last breath. And that is why he is an example, an example of our time and our people.

With great strength, one could say inspired, he lived and spread the spirit of our faith and homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
