In Gacko, Bosniak returnees attacked, firearms used

(Patria) - A Bosniak returnee family was attacked today in Gacko, and firearms were used in the process.

This was confirmed on his Facebook profile by the Federal Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees, Nerin Dizdar.

"Information is coming about a new attack on returnees, this time in Gacko, with the use of firearms.

Another proof that poisoning the public space with chauvinism and fleeing from truth and responsibility once again puts a target on the backs of victims.

As the Prime Minister and I told the returnees in Gacko a few days ago, our support for them will be greater and stronger than ever. We again demand from the entity authorities the urgent prosecution and identification of the perpetrators.

It would also be helpful if they stopped spreading hate speech, but we are not counting on that. State judicial bodies can prevent them from doing so.

The Ministry will send its representatives to the scene tomorrow morning to assess the damage to the residential building, as well as the condition of the returnee family, and to ensure all necessary support," Dizdar stated on social media.
